For Nana and Grandad
A Christmas song for Nana and Grandad
Ask Nana and Grandad what they would like for Christmas and you always get the same answer: nothing, we have everything. They do not have a song. Tell us their names, what makes them who they are and which moment must be in it; both names go in the chorus.
This is how a Santa Melody song sounds
We made this example song in exactly the same way as the song you order. Hear how the name comes back in the chorus.
Why a song for your grandparents
They have enough things and never enough time with the grandchildren. Every present feels like one more thing for the cupboard.
- Another plant
- A gift card that never gets used
- Something they do not really need
Something they do not have yet
Put the grandchildren in the song, with their names, and the apple tart or the walk on the strand that Christmas is all about for them. Play it on the TV, with the lyrics printed alongside.
- Both names in the same chorus
- The grandchildren in the starring role
- Play it on the TV or a speaker

Frequently asked questions
How do I know my song will be lovely?
You hear it first. In 2 minutes you read your lyrics and hear the chorus of your own song, for free. Only if you love it do you order. You then get two songs on those lyrics, in two styles. Is something not quite right? You can have it changed for free until you are happy.
What does Santa’s voice sound like?
Deep, warm and kindly, like a grandfather telling a story by the fire. First Santa says your child’s name himself, with a hello from the North Pole and something you told us about them. Then he sings the whole song, with their name in the chorus. Each of your two songs starts with its own message from Santa. You can listen to Santa when you choose the voice, or choose a warm male or female voice instead.
Is the demo really free?
Yes. You answer a few questions, read your lyrics and hear the sung chorus of your own song. You pay nothing and enter no payment details. You only order if you want the full songs.
How much does it cost?
Two songs cost €29.95, including VAT. Would you like a video with your own photos as well? That costs €49.95 in total.
Will it arrive in time for Christmas?
Yes. Your songs arrive in your inbox within 1 hour of ordering, even on Christmas Eve, Thursday 24 December. The video takes up to 3 working days, so order that by Monday 21 December.
What if the song is not quite right?
Then you change it for free. On your listening page you write what should be different, for example a happier chorus or a name that should sound different, and a few minutes later there is a new version. You can do that until you are happy.
Do I really get two songs?
Yes. We make two songs on the same lyrics, in two styles. You pick your favourite and keep them both: they are on your listening page together, and you can download both as MP3s.
What exactly do I get?
Two songs of about 2.5 to 3 minutes with the name in them, in the chorus too. On your own listening page you play them and download them as MP3s, with all the lyrics. With the video, you also get a video of the song with your own photos.
How do I give it?
Play it on a speaker or the TV on Christmas morning, under the tree or at Christmas dinner. Or send the link to the listening page: anyone with the link can listen.
Is paying safe?
Yes. You pay through Mollie, by credit or debit card, Apple Pay or PayPal.
